Crops You Can Grow in a Warm Greenhouse
The environment in your hobby greenhouse is something you control. When you control the environment you control how warm or cold the air is in the greenhouse. This discussion is about warmer weather crops that you can grow in the greenhouse. A warmer weather climate would be fifty degrees or above.

You have the option of keeping your greenhouse even warmer to grow exotic and rare flowers and plants if you like. Unfortunately, when the greenhouse is this warm you will find your vegetables will not produce well, or at all, so you may have to make a choice in what you want to grow.

Warmer weather crops include tomatoes. Other types of plants that grow easily in the warm greenhouse are peppers (all of the different varieties) and the eggplant. When you choose seeds or plants to grow in your hobby greenhouse during the winter months you will want to choose varieties that are shorter in growing seasons. For example, instead of buying a ninety-day tomato, you should opt for a sixty to seventy day tomatoes that can handle the shorter days and less sunshine.

You can grow your carrots, radishes, and onions in the warm greenhouse. You will even be able to grow sunflowers for your enjoyment. The warmer greenhouse will require more planning on how to heat your greenhouse, but the results are well worth it.
