Here is all you need to make little garden picks. Materials: Bright colored paints, Different sizes of foam balls, 4 wooden oval shaped foam balls, 2Chenille stems, black, dowels, wooden - 1/8-inch thick 12-inches long, 4 Wiggle eyes, 8mm, 2 Toothpicks, Craft glue. In order to make these little bug picks, you will need to paint the face part of the head in a Flesh Tone. The head part is going to be the smallest foam ball. Paint the remainder of the balls black. Paint the wings for the bee white and the wings for the ladybug red. Paint the bee's body Yellow. Paint the ladybug's body red. Dot the ladybug's body with black with as many little spots as you like. Let the paint dry thoroughly and when it is dry you can apply the glue with a toothpick and attach the foam head to the foam body! You can make different sized lady bugs fast using a wide variety of foam balls of your own choosing.

A complete collection through your garden or in your green house is sure to bring a smile to your guests. Cut three pieces of the black chenille stem to be large enough to go around the bee's body. Bend one end of each chenille stem then poke it into the ball. Bring the stripe around the body, and then glue it in place to create a stripe. Poke remaining end of chenille stem into body. Repeat procedure to make three stripes or use as many as you like if you are creating a very large one! Cut two 2" pieces of chenille stem. Bend each piece in half. Bend end over slightly to curl the antennae. Poke a hole at the top of each bug's head, and then glue the antennae in the hole. You can make these antennas as long or short as you like, and it can vary how long they are on each little bug you make for a unique look. Glue the wiggle eyes on the face. If you are using eyes that don't wiggle you can create silly faces manually. Glue the wings to the back of each bug. You can make the wings in different "motions" on different bugs to make it look as if all the bugs are in different positions. Add glue to the top of each dowel. Poke the glue end of the dowel into the bottom of the bug snugly so that the wind can't pick up your bug and blow it through the yard.

After you have created as many little ladybugs as you want, you are then ready to go decorate your garden or your greenhouse! You can stick these little bugs in your pots, in containers, or in the ends of the rows in your garden as little markers.
