The hobby greenhouse kit is by far the easiest and most convenient way for you to get your hobby greenhouse adventures started. You can purchase a hobby greenhouse kit that will fit your size and your budget needs.

There are greenhouses that are as small as 6 foot by 8 foot or there are even hobby greenhouses that are the size of a commercial greenhouse! You make the choices of what your hobbies needs are. One of the most important decisions that you make when buying a hobby greenhouse is: What type of frame will you buy?? There are many types of frames for your greenhouse which include aluminum, wood, metal or pvc. By far, with the technology advances in aluminum and the price considerations when dealing with replacement parts from rotting or rusting, aluminum outlasts and is a better structure for your money.

When you are considering the many types of greenhouse structures, you also need to look at how high the wind can be in your area, what are the chances of a natural storm with hail or snow, and also you need to look at and be aware of the children both in your home and in your neighborhood (because flying balls and toys may hit the greenhouse and if you are choosing wood with glass the glass can break easily). The type of covering you are going to use for your hobby greenhouse will also determine what type of structure and framing you are going to use. Glass is heavy so you would need a much heavier structure framing such as wood or metal, but when you compare to double wall polycarbonate and how much lighter it is, you can choose any type of structure framing that you want from the aluminum, wood, metal, or pvc. A great choice is aluminum because it is lightweight (for shipping) but can hold hundreds of pounds because of its strength. Aluminum will not rust as metal wood plus it will not need replaced as wood does when it rots.

If you feel that you are buying a hobby greenhouse now, but you are not sure on what size to buy then you should remember to be finding a type of structure that you can easily add on to in five or ten years when your hobby grows
